About the Author

Isaac Mendiola is a veteran, welder and hard worker turned writer. With a passion in adventure and fantasy fiction, he loves writing stories with underlying messages about life, tribulations and personal experiences. Growing up in the Texas hill country in the 90’s and early 2000’s, Isaac had a childhood of adventures and memorable experiences. Some of his favorite books growing up were, The Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls and Number The Stars by Lois Lowry. They were stories that brought adventure, emotion, drama, and his writings reflect on books like these and many others.
